The history
For 100 years Orgain Building Supply has been serving the Clarksville community with lumber and building supply solutions. Founded in 1921 by Edgar Orgain, the business began with selling hogshead staves and soon expanded with a lumber yard, masonry supplies, plaster and cement. Leadership of the business was taken over by Jimmy Orgain until his retirement in 1996. Bill Orgain later took the helm, and his son Hunter Orgain (4th generation current GM) is now poised to bring up the next generation of Orgain Building Supply leadership.
Now a part of Ambassador Supply, we carry on the legacy and the good name of Orgain Building Supply to this day. Ambassador is proud to carry Orgain on to the 3rd generation and continue the impressive history of growth.
